CSIRO is Australia's national research agency. Through its Wealth from Oceans Flagship, CSIRO delivers science and technology to provide Australians with enduring social, environmental and economic wealth from the nation's vast coastline and ocean territory.

The flagship works with partners in research, industry, government and community organisations, and focuses on national and global challenges where oceans play a central role. It brings together more than 500 scientists, from climatologists, biodiversity experts and oceanographers to socio-economists, petroleum engineers and software developers.
